Yes — to remove an open password (user password), you must provide that password. To remove permission restrictions (owner password), you must provide the owner password. We cannot bypass or crack passwords — the correct credentials are required.
If the PDF opens freely but printing, copying, or editing is blocked, you need the owner password to remove those restrictions. Enter it in the Owner Password field and choose 'Remove all restrictions'.
No — we do not offer password cracking or brute-force tools. AES 256-bit encryption is designed to be computationally infeasible to break. If you've lost the password, the file cannot be unlocked.
