PNG is lossless — no compression artifacts — and supports transparency. JPG is lossy and always has a white or solid background. Use PNG for logos, diagrams, screenshots, and text-heavy pages; use JPG for photos or when file size matters most.
Yes. If your PDF has a transparent or partially transparent background, the resulting PNG will maintain that alpha channel perfectly. JPG cannot do this.
Free users can convert PDFs with up to 10 pages per file. Pro users can convert unlimited pages per file, and batch-convert up to 20 files per session.
For web use, 96 PPI is sufficient. For presentations and screen use, 150 PPI is a good balance. For print or professional work, choose 300 PPI for crisp, publication-quality output.
